2. We had the privilege of delivering a presentation at the Insights Association's Corporate Researchers' Conference in Chicago: “Customer-Centricity in the Age of Generative AI: Essential Lessons for Every Organization.”
Our Chief Strategy Officer, Adam Bai gave the talk along with Hubspot’s Research and Thought Leader lead Amy Maret.
The talk was based on a series of Glimpse and Hubspot case studies, yes, but also on a landmark longitudinal study about gen AI adoption experiences by marketing and sales managers across the US, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, and Japan.

During our talk at the CRC, we introduced a new gen AI adoption maturity model as a framework for businesses looking to harness the power of generative AI effectively. This model provides a roadmap, outlining adoption stages and then beginning the work of investigating corresponding benefits that organizations can expect to reap.

Adam and Amy created and tested a 7 step gen AI adoption maturity model for marketers.
They found that orgs at early stages were seeing efficiency gains for individuals but that orgs at later stages were actually seeing customer-centricity and ROI gains.
Orgs at middle stages of maturity are experimenting with dynamic content creation but their campaigns aren’t really any more effective than they were before.
There are huge differences by country, with Brazil in the lead and Japan coming up behind when it comes to adoption.

In the study, the correlation between maturity stages and business performance was particularly noteworthy. As organizations advance through the stages, revenue and business outcomes see a substantial boost, largely due to enhanced consumer understanding.
