This Week at Glimpse 📣
Though generative Artificial intelligence (AI) is still in its earliest stages of adoption, especially within organizations, it's already rapidly changing the world, and with those changes, people's attitudes towards AI are also evolving.
At Glimpse, we’ve been using generative AI within our platform to help clients analyze and code data and then output things like “Newsworthy Topics” or “Key Messaging” (tailored to the responses of particular audience segments) in industry-leading ways for months.
We’re also enabling clients to have real conversations with AI-generated personas to help them guide their thinking and research. This is far more effective and useful than trying those conversations with a general application like ChatGPT.
Glimpse isn’t just adding intelligent guardrails and data privacy protections; we’re also layering in lots of contextual data and deterministic demographic and behavioral data points about the persona of interest.
We’re excited for everyone to dive in and trial the new feature as the new year begins!
And Glimpse continues to take the lead investigating the adoption of generative AI across organizations. In addition to conference presentations, publications, and collaborative research with clients, that also means Glimpse sentiment trackers to look at attitudes, emotions, and top-of-mind awareness toward generative AI and their evolution over time.
Glimpse recently surveyed 300+ Census Representative US residents in the 5th installment of our longitudinal study of AI adoption attitudes, particularly regarding the future of work.
One big takeaway: When it comes to generative AI and the future of work, negative sentiment climbed a bit in mid-2023 but is now subsiding and positive sentiment is climbing! Interestingly, this result also dovetails with our collaborative research with Hubspot: as people experiment more with generative AI they tend to worry less about it.
